cheapo algae scrubber experiment

i want to make an algae scrubber but had no time to research on how to do it or to gather equipments.. so i just used what i had. the only thing i bought is the plastic canvas, used a hole saw to rough it up.

melted couple of holes for water to pass through.


chiller pump return is used to run high flow in the container.


usings a 4 red 2 blue (6x3w) refugium lighting to grow the scrubber and chaeto.


you guys think this would work?

Yep, it should work.

Good current and light is about all you need and prevent it from getting into pump intakes etc.
