Hi. About to start treating for ich. CAn't get good enough pics but I think it is ich. It's in my DT 
Going to do transfer method. Put all fish in a clean tank/tub on day 1. Move to another clean tank/tub on day four. Repeat on days 7, 10 & then on 13 move to temporary home. Keep them there for ~8 weeks which will mean DT has been fish free for 10 weeks. That seems straight forward but here is the key issues I need advice with :S
1) have 5 fish (flame angel, juwel algae blenny, o. clown, royal gramma, firefish). The tubs I was going to use are only 20 us gallons. Is this too small for these 5 fish for 3 days? Am i going to get ammonia build up?
2) how long does a hospital tank of around 25 us gallons take to cycle? All it will have in terms of filtration is a small internal 3 stage filter. If this takes longer than the 13 days that transfer method takes what should I do in between? Keep transferring? :S
