just wanted to do a post on my tank thats been up for four years now.. its been moved twice... I believe this is a very easy process if done correctly. I started this tank when i was 17 and broke lol now its almost to the point that i want it..

65 gallon marineland tank
custom stand golden oak
custom canopy golden oak
canopy contains 2 4 inch fans from radioshack along with a 400 watt MH with a batwing reflector the bulb is an aqualine 13000k bulb and gives just the right amount of blue in my oppinion without being overpowering I also supplement with 192 watts PC half attinic and half 10 k daylight

i have a 70 gallon sump
inside the sump i keep my skimmer which is a
Euroreef rs80
I also have a few modded mj's for flow in the sump

flow is provided by a cap 1200 from the tank to the display the display runs a modded mj a seio 800 and a mag20 is hidden in the rockwork. I have almost eliminated all deadspots without sturring up the sand to much...

I would also like oppinions on my rockscape.. I am considering selling this tank I just want to see how much attention it draws!!

thanks for viewin

nate

if anyone can identify whats in the last pic it would be awesome

I have some brown rodactis shrooms that look just like them but their brown...yours look green ???

I have some very good friends down in TAZY......  :wavehand:

Honest opinion? Your tank would look 100% better with a background. Black would help disguise all the visible equipment and having a bg will remove all those wires from the picture, as well as help make the inhabitants' colours pop.

The aquascape is nice and open, and I agree this is a very clean tank. It doesn't look four years old; it's missing the settled, grown-in look of most older tanks -- probably because it has been repeatedly moved, and there aren't many corals. You've got lots of room for growth/new corals, and it looks like you have a few beauties in there already -- those rhodactis shrooms are very nice! No idea what's growing next to them though; is it mobile, or stationary?

agreed on the background thing I actually have one its just been really busy around here and I havent had time to put it on... however these pics are biased and were took when the lights first came on RIGHT after I redid the tank i need to snap some more thanks for all the oppinions! I'll snap some more photos tonight

just some recent photos to give you a better idea of what my tank has gone through since the last photos were taken a month ago:)

Thats it for now I'll prolly be waiting a few before i take the time to put the background on( Im working on my new project boat :) in the meantime any comments are welcomed I do realize I only have a few corals but I worry about overcrowding from growth and stinging each other etc
