Thanks Pete! I had to beg for permission from the General to get this one. I've seen single heads of it (or very similar to it) for $200 at a LFS so eight heads for $200 is a slamming deal.

Xia, a trade sounds good. I'd like to let mine grow out for a while before I frag a piece.

Brian, that's a sweet piece as well. I'm interested to see what mine looks like in person. The seller said it looks exactly like a pic of dragon's soul I showed him. Even if it's not, I'm sure I'll still be very happy with it.

What conditions are you guys keeping your Favias in? I've read everything from low-high light.

I'm blasting mine with 400 watts, but it's off to the side a bit. I'm trying to get the edges to color up more.

are there different prisms? the one i am thinking of is at johns and it is more yellow. isnt that reverse color? the one that john has will one day be in my tank i promise you that

Hey Xia, I thought that these favia variants colored up better under lower to moderate lighting? John's, for instance, is at the bottome of his tall tank in front.

I've got a piece of the ATL Crown Jewels, looks just like Brian's. Keeping it under PCs and it is doing just fine, but it took a while to get a third head on it, and the feeder feelers only come out after the lights have been off for a while.

Mine looks like Brian's without the actinics. It does have a darker ring around the green center though. The crown jewels looks different to me. Where did you get your piece JJ?
