Running at this temp the last three days after I finally made a few adjustments to my new fish room....crazy 700gals no chiller just an ac vent dropped in the room

Crazy low for no chiller. How about temp swing when AC off?

Mine runs about the same when the AC is on with no chiller. Mine rarely goes above 76 unless the air is off. We keep the house at 77 and have vent right above the tank that blows down onto the open tank. I have a fan that blows directly onto the surface of sump when the temp reaches 75.5

Even when the ac shuts off It takes two days for that much water to change temps as long as the room stays closed and we didn't open up all the windows in the house I suspect

What temp is the AC at? With an open system, the amount of surface area, it's not too hard to keep the water cool.

76 is what the ac is set at night and 79 during daytime when Im at work....

I keep the house at 71. No chiller, 500W of MH for 7 hours per day. Temp runs between 75-78 in tank.. Fans (3 in the canopy) kick in when temp is >76.

What type of return pump are you running and do you have a manifold for the other devices? Thanks

I run 2 reflow super dart golds (4 returns to DT per) ....I have a manifold that has 4 outlets (gfo, carbon, ca reactor fed, and a spare, also have 2 1in manifolds...1 to fuge, and 1 that runs a 24in x 8in fluidized sand bed filter.....all of these manifolds though are run off the drains and strictly ran with gravity :spin1:......the drain system is pushing over 7000 gph threw the sump......only 4 pumps in the system the two return pumps and the 2 red dragons on my skimmer......oh and the system also has 300w of uv:spin3:

thanks for the heads up. Can you please post a pick of the manifold? I'd like to put one together and hopefully bring my temp down. Thanks
