I have never seen anything like them. They have a bright white skirt with a green outer ring, pastel purple ring, pastel blue ring with a white mouth. My LFS gets the coolest stuff.

My friend has some pink elephants and they are similar but these are much smaller and have the white skirt. I'll try to get a pic of them next to each other for reference. None the less, I really like them.

WOW I have never seen Zoas like this! I want a frag when you are ready and willing to sell these! I will pay anything! Well... almost anything... ;)

looks like a bleached out a bit version of my jason fox bloodshots. give them some time to color up in a few weeks and she what they turn into.

I should actually be picking some of the Bloodshot's up this weekend so I'll be able to compare. The are definitely not paly's, polyps are small, about 1/4" or so.

They are zoanthus gigantis, or what many people refer to as palys. The thick skirt and "parenthesis" pattern are very common to this species.

Can you tell us something about your system?

How long have you them?

What type of lights and wattage do you have?

What's your photo period?

Any additives?

Do you test, if so, how often and with what type of kit?

What are your parameters?

Do you plan on allowing them to grow out by attaching them to a mother rock instead of fragging them?

Thanks for sharing.

those are nice. I have the same exact piece. There was a third type of polyp that came on the parent colony thats also pretty bangin. They came from a So Cal wholesaler.
