Check this Rhinopias out

I went to a LFS today and they had an amazing Rhinopias there. I have never seen a blueish purple one. Looks like an Eshmeryi. Sorry it was a phone camera. Regards, Tim

That's a beautiful fish. He was probably $1500 or so I bet. Very cool.

Wow, what a fantastic colour! I don't know much (anything really) about these fish. I assume the colour(s) are camouflage, correct? I saw a red 'leaf fish' at a LFS a while back, and guessed that his shape and colour were meant to mimic red algaes like gracillaria. Is this guy purple so he blends in with coralline, or purple corals?

I have seen a LOT of Rhinopias in the wild but NEVER that color. If it is small, it may be juvenile coloration?

i have seen three that color before they were 500-900$ also ive seen two ornage ones with white eyes that were realy cool too

I am very tempted!!!! I have a Frondosa right now, who is orange. How sweet would they look together!!! Only problem is that they will change color over time. Here's my guy. Never asked about the price. I have a Tinker's coming in next week. Regards, Tim
