Chelmon & Zanclus vs Tridacna

Does anybody of you have experience with keeping calms and that fish? I do not have any calms yet but I consider to try to introduce tridacna to my tank. Is it prudent with these fish or not much?

I think that would not be prudent. One of the ways to get Chelmon to eat (most are difficult) is clams on the half shell.

Smaller clams are more susceptible to predation. I would be nervous with a 3 inch maxima but would have little concern over an 8 inch derasa or squamosa for example.
