Chelsey -> SS #s Stolen From Mizzou Computers

Was she employed there in 2004? I didn't even think she went to school there then.

She couldn't have been employed there and gone to school there at the same time. I'm older than her! That was my freshman year.

This is kind of serious. A buddy of mine from MU is on the list of people who had information taken.

main point is they were hacked period. end of story

hey, maybe they are selling MU college degrees now in China??? you never know now there's a story

I am sure they play football better in China than at MU. :D

It is sad that all of those people will have to deal with the possible loss of their identity because of it.

Holy Moly! did you hear that Steve!? We can probably get decent Degrees from MU for cheap, are you still in good contact with your buddy who lives in China?

ahh yes love the chinese people I do.

Jack I'm sure Xavier plays better football than Mizzou.

Undefeated since 1973! I swear!

I have been a victim 2 different times here at Boeing, due to laptops being stolen that contained personal information. Pretty much have the credit monitoring service free for like the next 3 years...

Hope nothing bad happens to anyone, because ID theft can take quite a long time to fix. If you have been the victim of this crime, it will be incumbent upon you to keep very good records of anything you do financially.

The SS #s and stuff were from employees, 2004 to current. I can only imagine what would happen if the system that contained all of the student information was hacked :eek1:

I think that was Dennis' point.... if they can hack one system there, then the whole system has the potential to be hacked. If this was a outside job, and not the result of a lost or stolen computer, then I'd be wary.

It wasn't only employees. It was mostly employees. I now know 3 people that were students in 04 that had their info taken.

they said on the news last night that it was possible that information was taken from current and past students and employees. Better to be safe than sorry so I wouldn't doubt anything.

If there is one thing that this world would be better off without, it is the media. They destroy everything, especially the truth.

It's a double-edge sword. Imagine how many high-level crimes would go unpunished without the media.

Or how many wealthy/famous people would be punished without them.
