how to determine if my tank is suffering from a chemical warfare? i have a 72 mix reef tank and after a water change i change my carbon pad and put a 100 grams of carbon in a bag, after that my season greeting montipora and a scroll are pale and losing tissue and my other corals the one that are near other start to hurt each other firt a torch to one hammer, and now a hammer to a lobo, and another is my frownspawn to a candy cane, all are being near each other long time ago and never happen nothing like that,it is because i remove the carbon pad and put only 100 grams in a 72 gallons?
thanks in advance

It sounds like these LPS corals are perhaps stinging each other based on your description. If you've seen the tentacles touching other coral's soft tissue, you know for sure this is the reason.

But any issues right after changing carbon suggests that the carbon may be stripping nutrients. If this ismthat case I would consider removing the carbon.
