My setup is simple just hob filter, hob skimmer, and maxi jet powerheads.

But added the air stones for treatment. And in all honesty in the past never even added the air stones and had more livestock than I do now. It did cure the cyano problem but I would have preferred to just keep hand picking it rather than losing everything I loved.

I am not blaming the product just at a loss really as my torch coral and zoa's crabs and snails are all still perfect.

I understand.........it is a tragedy to lose any animals.

I can't say this is a fact or anything, but whenever I treat for cyano, which is maybe once ever 1-2 years, I buy new ChemiClean, because I treated with old product once and it didn't get rid of the cyano, so I wonder if it degrades over time?

Possible but had bought this the same day used....but then again who knows how long it has been sitting on the shelf.
