Cherub Angel ?s

Would one of these be a good idea or bad idea with what I currently have going on?

Tank is 125 with a chainlink eel, purple firefish, 2 skunk cleaner shrimp, with a red firefish and geometric hawk in QT.

Where would I like to go with this? A bunch of small fish with my eel being the centerpiece along with a squaretail bristletooth tang (don't have the tang yet).

Just making the next Godzilla movie is all.......lol

These guys are often listed as among the most coral-safe angels. However, they can be really nasty to other inhabitants. Think sixline wrasse nasty. I would worry most about your filefish, which are naturally kind of docile.

Do you know the life-cycle of your eel? I don't know about chainlinks, but understand that they are echidnas (like snowflakes), which eat crustaceans when they are young. And while they are considered relatively fish-safe, that can change when they hit sexual maturity. If so, all of your smaller fish (clowns, filefish, etc.) may be at risk long-term.

This paragraph is something I take into consideration/research every time I get an idea of something new to add.

There's no true coral safe angel huh? I do realize what I'd like to do is about 50/50 with what I have and always appreciate any advice. I'm not 1 of these :deadhorse1: lol

The 20 gallon I'm using as a QT will be kept up and running long term, with a 10 gallon in reserve if an emergency arises. The filtration and lighting will be upgraded for the 20 but other than a few corals and other type of shrimp that I wouldn't add to my DT, snails, and hermits it will have no fish, may let the little hawk stay. I like little Astro

My Cherub angel is reef safe as long as you don't have any SPS in there. He thinks they're candy. But he won't touch LPS or softies. I don't have any polyps like zoas etc so can't say about them.

I do want to find out from others that have had them if theirs was aggressive. Mine gets along fine with my Percula pair and my Hector's goby. As a matter of fact the Hector's goby will stand up to my Cherub. The Cherub is about an inch to an inch and a half and I've had it for 4 months.

So what can I expect about this bad aggression I've heard about, just how bad is it? I plan on putting 4 other fish in my tank they would be Flame hawkfish, Yellow Watchman Goby, McCoskers wrasse and undecided on my 4th. \

Thanks for any replies.

I had one in my tank when I just had LPS and I had to take it out as it nipped at my open brain corals causing them to retract all the time.
