Quick question: do fish like to eat cheto, or should you just throw the over growth (from fuge) away?

You can just throw it away, sell it or give it away to some poor less fortunate Reefer.

Some fish will eat it, but its a hot item you can trade it or sell it to the lfs or reefers locally. The last option is selling on e-bay. good luck

I had mine "donated" from a guy on a local reef site, and I appreciated it as I couldnt buy it anywhere. And I did try everywhere!

As I trim mine now, I bring it in to a LFS for "consideration" as my trimmings are only good enough to get 1-2 sumps going.

I give excess chaeto to my LFS, he gives me stuff in return. I never ask for anything and he never offers anything but sometimes my purchase is free.
