chicago area looking in santa barbara

hey guys, i'm in the chicago area and have family in santa barbara. Soooo, i was just wondering if you could help me out and let me know the good places i need to visit whenever i'm in town!.....any help would be awesome...thanks!

You should probably post this in the Southern California Forum. . .since that's closer to Santa Barbara. . .

I can offer my opinion from 3 years ago when my husband & I went to UCSB. That's where we started our tank. . .

* Fair warning. The place looks like a whole in the wall. But the owner (Asian guy w/ one arm) has been the most honest person weââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢ve met at LFSs. He used to carry unique corals the other SB shops didnââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t have. Heââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s been in the business a long time & knows what heââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s talking about.

Sure. . . let me know if you pick up anything or find anything unusual. My parents are still down there in S. CA & are coming up here to Boise next month. I might just have them bring up some corals too
