chicago area looking in santa barbara

hey guys, i'm in the chicago area and have family in santa barbara. Soooo, i was just wondering if you could help me out and let me know the good places i need to visit whenever i'm in town!.....any help would be awesome...thanks!

If you stay in SB, check out Atlantis Aquarium on upper State St. , and Ocean Floor in Goleta. Atlantis still doesnt have much coral, but they do have lots of fish and some cool tanks.

If you want to take a trip south, there's Aquatic Village on Seaward in Ventura, and Tat's in Ventura and Thousand Oaks. Tat's in T.O. is always talked about because they have an amazing selection of coral. The Ventura store is geared more for fish, but might be worth the stop to check out their display tank.

Its for the dry goods they carry at their stores, and the prices vary widely, so beware.
