Chili coral...hard to keep?

I was thinking of buying a chili coral, reading every where that it was easy enough to keep until I read this post.

From what I have read the like high flow, low light and regular spot feedings.

So for those of who you have some experence...are they hard to keep? Im looking something to work towards a sun coral, but would I be better just going straight for the sun?
