Chili coral

SaraB helped me create a roof-like structure under which I could put my chili coral. It's been a couple of days and the coral is showing better polyp extension and overall expansion. Here are a couple of shots.

Thanks. A mixture of Rod's coral blend and RN Roti-feast or Cyclopeez.

i even have a chilli coral too and i feed with lobster eggs and fauna marine seafan and i have great success with it...

I have a nice size chili as well. I have mine out in the open. Now granted it only opens at night (2 hours after lights out) but everything opens nicely. I feed him pretty much the same thing you do but I did not have any issues with him opening. Once they are open they stay that wa all night and about 5 minutes after the first Atinics turn on in the morning.

When did you start to experience issues? Was it right away or over time it started to keep closed.

I have 4 X 39 G-man bulbs and no halli so maybe my light is not so strong that it is not irritated.

Just wondering if I should move mine to a darker place.
