Chili coral?

Hey guys I've had this pinkie nail size coral for about a month, it was attacked to a torch I picked up from my LFS for free as it was found under a frag tank and 2 of the 3 heads died. I took it off and placed it on a small rock at the bottom of the tank kinda under a ledge in hopes it would start growing so I can identify it. I't looks like it my have grown ever so slightly, what do you think it is?

Impossible to say. Too small, no corallite structure to identify it.

I thought chili corals were NPS?

Looks like a sponge. Looks like it has outlet tubes on the top.

I'll get a better shot tomorrow with just whites on.
