for those that are not running a singler controller...what are you setting your chiller / heater at? my artica chiller is +/- 1 deg for shutoff / activation and didn't want my heater/chiller working agaisnt each other...
Personally I think a temperature controller is a must. They are not that expensive these days and do a damn site better job than relying on probes in your chiller and heaters working against each other. Try Aquamedic
