Heater controller

I think if you look it does have 2 outlets but one is for heating and one is for a chiller.
Yes the 312 has one for a chiller. The 306 are both controlled at the same time on the same temps. At least I don’t see anything in the booklet stating otherwise.

So far after the first night no issues with the 306 so hopefully it was just a faulty INKBIRD. I did order a compact 100 watt heater to put in the tank. I just hate putting more in the tank. It’s already crowded in there but it’s better than killing everything. I don’t have room for a sump so EVERYTHING is in the tank or hanging on the back.

I’ve had a 306a just die on me.

As in, woke up and there were no LEDs on. Heaters were off tank was 2° lower than it should have been. No alarms because the Inkbird was dead.

Unplugged it and plugged it back in.

Dead.

Of course this was after the warranty period.

I replaced it with an Innovative Marine Helios.

So far it’s been rock steady.

I'll have to double check. I havne't looked at the manual or the physical details since I got it a long time ago. I just ran two heaters on it and never had a problem maintaining heat!

holy criminy. I guess this is a reason to have a second temp alarm then? because I count on my inkbird to let me know when things are askew.
