Do chillers lose charge over time? I mean it's basically a small a/c. Kinda.
Cause mine takes longer now than last year to cool my water.

Just wondrin'

i think over time they can build a slime coating inside the coil (where the water gets cooled) and get slower or the evaporator... (the big coil with fins) of course they are dust magenets in with the humidity can be tough to get clean also cause slower action .. i dont think any of mine ever "lost charge" so in my exp. no i dont think they lose charge but i wouldnt rule it out completely
