Anyone know of a place that will tuneup/repair a chiller in NJ?

Whitesquall, What seems to be the trouble? What type of chiller? If you think that it needs freon I would think any hvac tech could do it. I baught a non working chiller 3 years ago for next to nothing and charged it myself. It has worked ever since. I would be glad to take a look at yours but you are a little far.

Hey eric, how have you been?
The unit I have is an Aqualogic 1/4hp, it seems as if it kicks on and off too often.... mytbe low on freon...I think it's an r12.
any suggestions?

That sounds like the same one I have. Is it possible the condenser needs to be cleaned? This is fairly easy to do. Remove the plastic cover (mine was held on with 4 phillips head screws). and use compressed air to clean the condesser coil. If you think it is more involved I would be happy to look at it for you next time you are making the trip up north. It would more than likely only take an hour or so to have a look see at it and charge it up if it needs it.

Eric thats real nice of you.... I am in that area alot, did you get in on the AWI group buy? if so I could pickup your stuff and bring it with the chiller to you for a look. "I know nothing about Chillers"
