But GBA didn't bore you? That's a shocker. I had 2 GBA classes at SIU and pretty much everybody hated them.

I actually don't think in code too often, it just made sense for what I was trying to say and I liked Dert's little piece of code so I went with it.

I'm just joking. GBA classes aren't so bad yet. I'm trying to keep them as broad as possible. But I can always change again, lol.

LOL!

trott: i'll bet you could get a mini fridge for a good price next month when the college semester ends. that doesn't really help you not boil your fish right now though..

Do you have central air? If so, it sounds like you need to be more strategic about which vents are open.

If central air
and thermometer on opposite side of house
then close vents near AC.

Just for kicks in Derts language (but in java)...
if (hasCentralAir && thermoOnOppositeSide) {
closeVentsNearAC();
} else {
System.out.println("@#$! out of luck!");
}

Sorry, I'm a nerd I know.

Anyway, that way the thermometer keeps the AC running until the cool air which is now making it to your room is in the whole house.

mini frig will not work

the pumps are to small, people have tryed this to much (will help a little but wont draw the temp down much and will run 24/7 creating more heat)

How did you fix it?

If you do have central AC, I would suggest playing with the vents to get some cool air in your room anyway, for your own sake. Besides, a consistent ambient temperature makes things much easier for the tank as well.
