Chiller

I am new to the hobby. A few months. Things are going well. I live in AZ. I am worried about the upcoming summer and think I need a chiller. I keep the thermostat at about 78 during the summer when I am not in during the day. Occasionally my central air craps out from ice buildup and I have to leave the AC off for a few days. I am worried that things may heat up and need a chiller if my AC craps out. Any thoughts?

I would get a chiller. It would not be pretty sight to see your tank wiped out. Sounds like cheap insurance to me!

Pat

I agree w/ rodgod. I think that a larger chiller will save you money in energy costs over the long run because it has to run far less to equilize you temp.
