So I'm interested in learning more about chillers to maybe end up purchasing one to cool my 180 gallon tank. It gets up to around 85F sometimes during the day which is way too hot considering it sometimes gets down to 77 at night.
So I have 2 questions:
1. What are some good chillers that are commonly recommended for a 180 gallon tank?
2. I'm wondering how they work, as in they cool the water but they create heat to do it which in turn heats the room up and will cause the tank to heat up to, right? Won't this create a viscous cycle that will just raise my electric bill even higher?
