Are those Chinese LED lights I am hearing about good for anemones, and if so what kinds would be best for the LEDs?I was thinking of Entacmaea quadricolor,Condylactis gigantea and Macrodactyla doreensis :) And what do Entacmaea quadricolor and Macrodactyla doreensis host in the wild?

Yes they are. Go to Ebay and type 165w full spectrum led. Buy from Topledseller. great rep. Don't buy anything from toplinkinc.

+1
My rbta and all my palys and lps love them. Be careful not to turn them up all the way I had mine on full blast and bleached out all my coraline algea. Now i keep the whites at about 60% and blues at about 90%.

Follow this link, even if it is dated, it is still considered by many a reference for anemones and clownfishes, you'll find everything you want to know.

Try looking for good rated sellers I the uk or look for sellers that ship worldwide that are good rated and two tomatoes should be fine in an 80 gallon just make sure that you avoid similar fish like damsels and other clowns as they are notoriously aggressive like maroons

Thanks for the link,I don't think they ship to Ireland :( I will take your advice and look for reliable sellers. And I may now be setting up a 5 foot.It will either be 4 foot or 5 foot :) Thank you for the help guys!

i would recommend reef breeders photons. i would probably go with a 32 over a 60g, if it's 48" long.

i have 3 photons, and they give lots of bang for the buck, imo. great colors, give good growth, fully programmable with built in controller, comes with remote, and good customer service. no, i don't work for them. lol i just really like them compared to some others that cost twice as much :)

justinky, beautiful tank!

Yep, reefbreeders are known for their awesome customer service.

Chinese lights.

Chinese lights.

I just ordered one for permanently cycled QT in my daughters room. Just one for a 40g breeder. Of course not as nice and fill featured as the Hydra 52. But at 1/6 of the cost it'll provide enough light to anything before going into the DT or whatever random stuff I,want to grow in there.

Gotta say, really impressed with the build quality.
