As a past windshield technician (repair and replace glass in cars) I will say this. Glass is fairly stable until it is compromised. Once the initial stability of the glass (a clean edge) is compromised it is almost impossible to say for sure what will happen. It may crack upon impact, it may crack a week down the road, it may be fine until just the right pressure is applied then crack or maybe be fine for a length of time. People who chime in and say "œI have a crack like that and it is fine" can't say yours will or won't be the same outcome. Glass is funny and can fail at anytime. I'm just saying you are taking a risk of some level and done be surprised some day if you wake up and walk through a wet floor. I hope not but it may happen.
