Chip in aquarium glass

I would fill it with 2 part clear epoxy or a windshield repair kit. It may not be necessary but it will not hurt and it will smooth out the roughness of the edge chip.

I tried epoxy but it just came off I am going to try windshield repair epoxy

Every any luck fixing it, did you have any issues with the tank....

I have a chip in mine but from what I have found out, it cannot be repaired, I attached a photo

As a past windshield technician (repair and replace glass in cars) I will say this. Glass is fairly stable until it is compromised. Once the initial stability of the glass (a clean edge) is compromised it is almost impossible to say for sure what will happen. It may crack upon impact, it may crack a week down the road, it may be fine until just the right pressure is applied then crack or maybe be fine for a length of time. People who chime in and say “I have a crack like that and it is fine” can’t say yours will or won’t be the same outcome. Glass is funny and can fail at anytime. I’m just saying you are taking a risk of some level and done be surprised some day if you wake up and walk through a wet floor. I hope not but it may happen.

Well said, I am not going to use the tank anyway. Some recommended buying a new glass panel, take tank apart and rebuild but I think it isn't worth it.
