I don't know in the UK, but to get CP here you need to get a prescription from a vet.

Ich Shield is supposed to be I,4-Pentanediamine, N4-(7-chloro-4-quinolinyl)-NI,NI-diethyl. Was this supposed to be a suggestion instead of CP or is it CP under a different name of form?

It's essentially the same molecule without the phosphate group. Pharmacological action is the same.
