Chloroquine with Prime?

I'm beginning a chloroquine regimen for velvet today, and I've never used chloroquine before. Does anyone know if Prime will interfere with chloroquine treatment? I'd like to avoid using RO, if possible.

Thanks.

if your fish has velvet, yes chloroquine but also drop the temp, add supplemental oxygen if possible and decrease the salinity to ~ 1.017. The fish get tired quickly and by doing the above, you can decrease the metabolic demands and often save a pretty sick fish. Supplemental oxygen at saturations of 200% is strongly suggested. It can be bought at welding supply shops or medical supply at a steeper cost though

Ok, thanks. I may do that tomorrow. The three that are left are not showing signs of disease, but I've lost 2 in the last week from the same QT so I know it's active in the tank. Would 75 deg be an appropriate "lower" temp, or should I go down to 72? Everyone is clean and breathing normally so I'm hoping I might cut it off with the chloroquine at 60mg/L.

It's unbelievable what a non-quarantined ball of chaeto can do to a healthy system. Never again.

I suppose I should have asked this earlier, but when I'm done with treatment and observation of my QT, should I treat the DT with chloroquine as well, preventatively? The only current inhabitants are crabs and couple of fire shrimp. Can they tolerate chloroquine? I know running fallow for 9 weeks is supposed to be a virtual guarantee, but I'd feel better dropping some sort of treatment into the system to be sure.
