Chocolate Chip Starfish Hitchhiker

I have had two chocolate chip stars recently come out of my rock, they are hanging on the glass eating algae. I see them as being listed as not reef safe. I was just wondering how bad they can be on corals because they seem to be a nice addition. Should I remove them or let them grow until they become a nuisance

Your corals will disappear one by one. You wont notice at first on the zoa's. All knobby stars are non -reef
