Oh cool. Thanks MY F1sh R D34D. I learn something new everyday, and learning is half the battle. :D

A. Nigripes are cool but don't plan on sticking your hands in the tank too often if they are hosted. They get pretty nasty. The personality did a complete 180 when i removed my RBTA however, much friendlier now.

I vote for the black Clarkii with no other fish in the tank. I think a 29 is too small for Maroons. My experience with Clarkii, True & False Percs & Nigripes is that the Clarkii have the most personality and a Black Clarkii and an Orange Clarkii would look great together. You can tell who's who immediately. A blue eyed orange female and a black male would be ideal.

since you didn't have black ocellaris on the list i had to choose GSM.....but it takes a little skill to form a pair because they are agressive toward one another......and i hope you don't mind getting bit

well i think imjust going to get a clown from my lfs, i just got a true perc today for my 24 reef since my ocellaris died (got sucked up against the overflow). i saw a really nice GSM for $36 4", tomato and sebae clowns 18.98, the sebaes are not black, their yellowish brown ???? are they really clarkii's? i may do a single GSM or 2 sebaes.

should i just get a single GSM as the main inhabitant? my lfs has some HUGE ones, thier gsm range from 3.5" - 6". they also have 5" bta for 49$, but thier kept under NO lights, im thinking about saving the one, but my tank is only 18 days old lol.

just on board i have a 30g for exactly the same purpose, just started i have a pair of clarks already in a 50 g so want another species.
