choosing fish for 55g

ok i'm trying to make up my mind for my 55g tank. i want to have awesome looking fish in my tank. i wanted a tang but everyone says no tang. what would be hardy and easy to take care of any ideas? right now i have 3 blue green chromis, i'm putting in live rock. thinking of 2 ocellaris clowns and 2 cleaner shrimp. anything else what can be the center piece? i wanted it to be the tang. any other ideas?

Depeding on your luck/what corals you plan to keep (if any) I'd go with a flame angel or coral beauty. I just added a lawn mower to my tank and he's a good fish, although not a centerpiece fish.

can add small colorful fish like royal gramma, or neon gobies. lots of color and small. I have a coral beauty in my 55 gallon hes fine in there

A small yellow tang could do well for a few years in a 55. I have one in mine

Yellow tangs are not recommended for a 55g tank.

i got one wasnt sure i wanted him/her but now that i have had the tang for a good couple months i am very pleased.

i want to get a couple dart or fire fish as well, i think they are very colorful , a flame angel, and a couple clowns :>
