It's been about 3 months and all of my TBS sponges are still kicking. I target feed them Phyto feast, Reef Roids, and Micro vert every night. I also supplement with Sponge Power. I don't run a skimmer at all, so maybe that helps. Weekly water changes and a thick mat of Chaeto keep my nutrients under control. Bought a tailspot blenny that cleans up any little remaining algae my CUC doesn't get. He loves TBS live rock, btw.
Orange Tree, red cluster, and yellow ball have all retained their color this way. Orange fan sponge has faded, but is still alive and well.
