mel, i can bring you a couple...i had about 8-10 on a piece of old dead coral that about fried when i changed my reflectors. there are still a couple on there. if you want them, you can have them. i have a bunch more on a couple rocks.
 
Mel - the xenia I have is kind of cream-colored, I guess. I wouldn't call it pink. The length of the stalks is quite variable depending on where it's growing with respect to current and light - it tends to get longer (couple-inch or more) stalks in dimmer spots. I don't think it's anything particularly rare, but it's easy and supposedly a better nutrient exporter than any macroalgae - least, that's what I read.

Dana - I've got you down for one each of the slimer and Scripps. Did you also want some xenia?

Jeff, I would take some if you're looking to get rid of it. The one I am thinking of is very pale pink, almost cream colored, so that's probably the right one.

Dana...sure, I would take those.

Mel, I've got a cream kind and a pale pink kind. The cream was sold to me as 'white red sea xenia' and the pink as 'pink pom pom xenia.' I could give you some of the pink if that's what you want and Jeff has the cream. It looks like this:

OK, so in the end does that mean you don't want the xenia I have? I can get a photo at some point if you're not sure.

Sadly, I won't be able to make it this year (that's two in a row). I know you guys are just broken hearted over that, but I think you'll make it without me and the seven-layer bars I was going to have my wife make. ;)
