Christmas Tree Worm

I just got a porites covered rock with a bunch of christmas tree worms on it. Trying to figure out the best placment. I know the porites will do best in high current and light, and I know the worms won't care about the light. But I can't find out anything about their current preferences.

The porites is brown (go figure) right now and I'd like to to color up. I think its red or pink but I'm not sure. But I got it for the worms and mostly I want them to be happy.

Any advice?

I keep mine pretty much in the middle of my tank and I have 4 x 54 watt T5s on a 55 gallon tank. The Porites is growing and the worms are doing well. I acclimated it to the light first though by putting it on the bottom for a couple weeks.

The tpy of porities that the christmas tree worms are on allot of times are just brown or green... Yours may not change colors.

Poriteis med flow. Medium to high lighting most of the time.
