Well I am finally getting my LED for xmas...currently waiting for them to get all the parts in before ordering. I will be getting the system from ecoxotic

Here is what I am getting for 75G

Do you guys have worries, concerns or recommendations?

I believe the Ecoxotic LEDs are 1 watt, maybe 1.5 watts each. Osram or Cree LEDs are 3 watts. If you want a light that is a lot brighter and costs significantly less, DIY is the way to go. I built a light over the Summer with 72 Cree LEDs, moonlights, and cooling fans for under $800. If money is no object, Ecotech Radions are the way to go.

Thank you for the input. I did a little more digging and I still went with the Ecoxotic.

They are using CREE LED, but they are only driving them at 1 watt. The newer model are designed for SPS. There was a show somewhere and they tested the light and it scored 240 PAR at 22 inches depth which is fine for SPS.

I searched for Ecoxotic on this forum and found all that information.

I receive my present...very exciting. I am wondering if I should put the Panorama pro n each side of the retrofit and one in the middle or two in the back and one in the middle...any input.
