what I am wanting to do is remove the rear brace bar. if I have to leave it in maybe turn it on its side.
is this possible.

The idea is so I can hide all the equipment. I am hoping to make a rear compartment similar to the aquamedic Kauderni .

I have no idea what you are talking about. Maybe a picture would help. I think you are being very vague. What brace bars?

how do I post pic's of the tank.
There is an 1 1/2" one across the back of the tank and one across the front just above the water line

OK, so I think you want to remove or relocate that slim glass brace in back.
I personally would try to alter or mod the HO gear before correcting the tank, I'm sure it ties the other bracing together and I don't think you are going to achieve that by turning it flat or sideways the way you are thinking.
That is a unigue and interesting design.
I think only the manufacturer or whoever designed it can give you a true answer, or a specialized glass builder.
I can tell you those spray bars often clog, not sure I'd stick w/ that plan unless you have a way of getting to it to clean or replace it easily.

Thanks for getting a picture posted. It helps paint the picture. I to like davocean would not remover or mess with that brace.

If you really want to hide internal things, put a weir in the tank, drill the back wall, make an 'external overflow' box big enough to hide the stuff in. Treat it as the sump at that point... Or drill the overflow box and add a sump.

If that is what you are looking for I would look at the inovative marine fusion tank, maybe sell that one.
