Thank you for contacting us with your great question. When deciding how many fish to add in your aquarium the basic rule of thumb with most aquariums is one half inch of fish per gallon, keeping in mind the size they will grow to. We typically recommend between 5-7 although this will depend on the other tank mates you have. They can grow up to 3â€Â. They are a great addition as they have a lot of personality.
