Chromis spawn?

I have a 125 reef with 4 green/blue Chromis in it, and well I have fry running around in the base rock, at least 10 I can count in one sitting, cant be any other fish, only have a Yellow Tang, Marroon Clown and the Chromis, anyway, is this uncommon for them to spawn for me? Should I start hatching some baby brine or rotis for them...? The are already free swimming fry about 1/8 to 3/16 of an inch long....fast as heck and hiding in the rock at the bottom of the reef, the mother has been very reclusive the last few weeks, only coming out to feed a little then hiding, and other one of the Chromis has looked almost immaciated lately, maybe she had a big egg load she laid? Any input would be awesome

Most likely you are seeing mysid shrimp common in reef tanks. Do they dart about in eratic patterns? Check at night by flashlight, you will see many more. Chromis larvae would be pretty much gone the morning after hatch, lost to predation and filtration.

I thought they were shrimp at first myself, but as the days go by they look and move more and more like fish....I will keep you updated
