Chrysurus Angelfish ID help

I see I never provided an update, sorry, but better late than never I suppose. I ended up not medicating for this condition, but rather just increased the volume of water changes. Although my test kits didn't indicate any significant water quality issue, obviously it was a factor as the condition improved almost immediately and never returned.

The fish is currently fat and healthy, and has been enjoying life in the DT for the last 6 months.

I had it on my pyramids. While I did both cupramine and prazi, I can't say for certain either helped.

The pics from alprazo show severely raised areas associated with the white "thing". My fish never showed that, so I'm not sure it's SAPROLEGNIA.

Incidentally, I looked up saprolegnia and only found fresh water references...

it does look like that! funny how mine only had it on the body and not the face...

I never got a concrete diagnosis on what it actually was, but it literally appeared overnight, and disappeared almost as quickly after I increased the volume of water I was changing out...

I was doing 50%wc every other day for 2 weeks and nothing changed
