The term smart used very losely. MB compared to a gold fish that has a 3 sec. memory on life. I have had a fish jump from the main to a mixing batch of new water that was next to the display tank. My brother had a manderan jump from the main tank to the fuge next to it. I have also seen a few threads on fish jumping from one tank to another water source. To me this takes some type of ,for a lack of better word , smartness.
