Chunks missing from SPS?

It looks like 2 bite marks about the size of the top of a pencil, would my melenarus do that? I'll try to get a pic after work today..

I wouldn't think a Melenarus wrasse would bite on sps. What other fish do you have? It could also be a bad crab hiding in the rock. Check the tank at night with a flashlight.

Probably a bore urchin, they're known for "accidently" munching down on SPS's instead of coraline algea.

bore urchin? I dont have any urchins... It was crazy it was fine before I left then 3 hrs later came home to these!

Heres the pic

Do you practice dipping new coral specimens, prior to adding them to your Display tank? If not, you may want to start.

Fraged it last night I think 2 more tiny frags I have look like they have it too but they are too small to frag so I'm just going to hope for the best... How did this happen? Is it the phos buster I put in? It happened within hours of putting that stuff in... I'm going to do a water change tonight to see if that helps

Definitely STN.

Check your Alk levels and properly adjust them.

Frag what you can, and do an iodine dip if possible, if not just add a few drops ( concentrated amounts - Lugols ) to aid recovery.

Regarding bore urchins, they are rarely seen in your tank and only come out during the night time. They are well hidden inside your rocks, literally inside. I got a few in my tank, they're completely harmless though. Never touched my SPS's but they're known to do that. There's plenty of coraline algea for them to eat in my tank
