I just I would post a pic of my new palys
I think these are really cool and cant find much info at all on them and havnt really seen them in anyone elses tank. I'd love to see some more out there if you have some pics.

you can see the size of these things by comparing the normal sized brown polyps beside this guy. I got 4 of them yesterday but this is the first to fully open up

Yup, Protopalythoa grandis is another name for them that I've seen. Sun Zoanthid is another one. But even the search engine for all three of those names dosnt reveal much information or pictures.
I'd love to see some others out there

the one's in the second pic are about 2" across :smokin:
note the paly in the middle of the rock on the left compared to the zoa's and then the pink paly in the middle of the pic and then the grandis

Wow, those green ones are incredible, did you find them that color or did they turn that color with certain lighting?

They were darker when i got them. You can find some with a little blue and green in them, although uncommon. Mine colored up really nicely once i put them in my tank under my T5's

I just got one yesterday, still awaiting for it to fully open!
