Are Zoanthids/Palythoas on the CITES list anywhere? I have looked and I dont see them at all.. I was wondering if they may fall under another name or something?

I am going to China in a few months and want to see if it will be possible to bring some back to Canada. From what I understand Hong Kong is a center of all things aquatic and I will be blown away by it all... was hoping to bring some of that blown away'niss' home.

While the zoanthid itself may not fall under CITES, the rock they are attached to is.

Then, the other catch, is even if you find verifiable aquacultured pieces on man made substrate, you'll still have the import/export regulations of live animals to deal with.

If you have enough time to sort through everything ahead of time, you may get lucky. Most just give up due to the hassle.
