Greetings,
I might have been reading on another forum or in another forum, but it was something about training gobies to eat. Currently my citron eats frozen brine shrimp. I initially tried mysis but they are to big or something. In a few months when I'm low on brine I will hatch a couple live'uns. But! I would love to get him to take pellets or anything else so i can get a varied diet. He's in with a small clown and an azure. and they love the daily shrimp feedings. That's my other tiff. I pretty much feed them about everyday as, like before I read somewhere ( it might have been hype) that they need to eat a lot. I would easily believe that being said about other types of gobies. Every now and again I'll skip a day. But I'm still worried. I really hate feeding everyday. I only feed the fish in my other tank every 2 -3 days.
So can anyone tell me how much food this guy needs over how long? and a way to train him to take pellets maybe. It's hard to get him up to the top to even realize there is pellets. All though one time he was clinging near the top and i dropped em right in front of his face, nothing. Do i need a visual aid? something to signal feeding time.
