Claim on glass

My clam found a valley in my sand and attached it self to my glass bottom of my tank. It is up against the front of the tank making it difficult to clean the glass near it. Any suggestions on getting it to release?

you would have to cut the silky threads holding it there. Cut them cleanly, don't pull them. They're not alive, but you can hurt the clam if you yank them.
