Clam Acclimation

My friend is selling me one of his clams today. It's about 1.5-2in. and he's had it for a couple of weeks. I know it's best to drip acclimate them, but do I need to acclimate them to the light (like I would for an SPS frag) or will they open/close and acclimate themselves to the light? Thanks.

what type of light is he leaving, and what type do you have?

2-250watt, 14k MH to mine 2-250watt, 10k MH.

the change in light should be negligible, just drip acclimate and you should be fine
