I have had this deresa in my tank for a few weeks now and every morning it is on its side. Should I just let it be? I have a 34 gallon cube with a 250 watt 20k ushio.

I would let the clam lay on it's side and maybe it will figure it out itself. lol the clam looks fine to me, try moving it to another spot maybe.

I have a baby derasa that does this as well....I had to prop it up with a piece of rubble rock and it finally attached it's foot to the glass underneath...but I know what you are talking about I couldn't figure it out either...I put it upright and it would close one time and make itself fall back on it's side....Wierd......I did see something pretty cool last night with my large crocea it walked about an inch across the rock it's on to get a better angle at the MH. that was pretty cool...just small baby steps until it readjusted itself.....kinda neat to see it in action...

May not like the flow right there. I had one that did that for a few days. When a PH went out while I was gone. I came home to find it straight up. Needless to say I didn't put the replacement in the same place.
