Will a torch bother a clam?

My clam ( a newer addition to my tank) is very happy at the bottom of my tank and as I found out yesterday, my torch is very happy about 1 inch away from it.

will the sweepers bother it?

clams are supposed to be unaffected by corals but if there were one that could do it, it would be a torch. they have a pretty nasty sting and good reach.

have you noticed the clams mantle retracted at all?

No, I have not seen and retraction yet, but its only been since yesterday that I moved the torch.

I just don't want it to be happy and comfy there as it appears if it will bother the clam.

clams can be stung by corals and anemones. i would give it a little more space then 1"
