Clam Attachment

Is it necessary for a crocea clam of about 3 to 3.5 inches to attach to a peice of small rubble? If not can i leave him sit in my DSB?

put a small rock in the DSB he will be happier,,IMO

I agree. Put something under it for it to attach to. You can try rubble, a small rock, piece of acrylic etc. They are rock boring clams in nature and do best when attached.
